She enjoyed reminisc- ing about “the good old days” and her drives with her sister Noot on the Coon trail.Īfter an astonishing display of courage, strength and resiliency, a call from God came that could not go unanswered. She enjoyed being back home and being able to spend time with her siblings daily. After Boot retired from Xerox, she relocated to Alabama and built a beautiful home on the same road she grew up on. Her annual trips often included her siblings, that lived in California and their children. She loved her family and had a bond with her siblings like no other.īoot enjoyed traveling to Alabama annually to see her parents, family, and friends. She was known to many people for her culinary skills and revered for making the best peach cobbler and sweet potato pies ever! She proudly and steadfastly raised her four children to be humble and God-fearing.
